A man, a vision and acts

Floribert Mubalama:

A Visionary Leader Guiding Change Locally and Globally

I am Floribert Mubalama, the Founder and CEO of the Congolese Integration Network (CIN), a beacon of hope and transformation for refugees and vulnerable communities. My journey began in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where I fled the devastation and chaos of my homeland, seeking refuge in Malawi. The refugee camp, where I spent eight challenging years, became both my sanctuary and my classroom, teaching me about resilience, compassion, and the undeniable strength of the human spirit.

Local Impact:

Building Communities and Transforming Lives.

Upon resettling in Washington State, USA, I was driven by a burning question:

“How can I give back?” The answer crystallized into the Congolese Integration Network, established on July 22nd, 2016. Our local mission is to:

• Empower Women: By prioritizing mental health, housing, and skill development, we help survivors of trauma not merely survive but thrive.

• Create a Vibrant Community Center: The envisioned Refugee Welcoming & Healing Center will serve as a one-stop hub, fostering a deep sense of belonging and providing vital services to immigrants and refugees.

• Develop Affordable Housing: Tailoring housing solutions for vulnerable populations, including seniors, to ensure safe and accessible homes.

• Engage and Empower Youth: Through sports, recreation, and environmental programs, we sculpt the leaders of tomorrow, connecting them with opportunities for growth and community bonding.

Global Vision:

Championing Health, Innovation, and Inclusivity.

My commitment extends beyond local boundaries, reflecting a global vision:

1.

Promote Global Health: Committed to enhancing the health and well-being of populations worldwide, I advocate for sustainable practices that cater to the most vulnerable.

2.

Innovate in Global Health: As a strategic partner of the Global Innovation Exchange Platform, I collaborate with innovators and stakeholders, supporting the development of inclusive and scalable global health innovations.

3.

Foster Collaboration and Change: Through CIN, I aim to make a meaningful difference in the global health landscape, leveraging partnerships, insights, and compassion to create lasting change.

The story of the Congolese Integration Network is one of resilience, transformation, and compassion. Driven by the mission to educate, usher, and lead toward thriving communities, our work is a testament to the power of empathy, support, and community.

Join me and CIN as we continue to weave this tapestry of hope, empowerment, and the unbreakable spirit of humanity, locally in Washington State and globally across continents. Together, we can create a brighter, more inclusive future for all.
