We extend our sincere appreciation to all those who joined us for our most recent monthly health event on Saturday, December 2nd in Everett. At the Congolese Health Board, we firmly believe that mental health is a top priority within our community. As such, we proactively engaged with various organizations to gain a deeper understanding of the mental health services accessible to our community members in Snohomish County.

During the event, local organizations delivered brief 10-15 minute health presentations to enhance community awareness of the available resources. Additionally, the Care-a-Van team administered Covid/Flu vaccinations in collaboration with the Department of Health of Washington State.

The event was conducted in-person with a concise duration, and we were immensely thankful to have our health team navigators on hand to provide interpretation in languages such as French, Lingala, Portuguese, and Swahili.

We wish to convey our gratitude to our esteemed partners who confirmed their participation in the event, including Coordinated Care Health, Community Health Plan of Washington, Department of Health, Seattle Job Initiative, KC Public Health, and Volunteers of America. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to all who attended and contributed to the success of the event.

It was a morning of enlightenment, connection, and communal support as we collectively prioritized our health and availed ourselves of the resources at our disposal.

With warm regards and unwavering solidarity, Congolese Health Board
